Hi, I’m Eleanor

Owner & Founder

I’m a country girl inside and out, and am passionate about everything rural and equestrian. I grew up in Oxfordshire and having travelled about a bit after University, I have returned to just the other side of the border in Gloucestershire to set up my business. Horses have played a big part in my life since I was three years old and I’ve been lucky enough to compete and work within most equestrian disciplines. I studied Animal Science at The University of Nottingham where I specialised in farm business management – the part of my degree I still use! After graduating in 2010, I ran the competition side of a large equestrian centre, which coupled with being secretary at various horse trials and volunteering at the London Olympics fuelled my love of organising events.

Having run a very successful freelance groom and nanny business for many years, in 2015 I decided I should get some experience out of the equestrian world and joined my father as manager of his retail and tourism business. In short, he’s a weaver and makes tweed, but the reopening of the famous Witney Blanket Hall was a fantastic opportunity for me to learn more about business in a town, the retail industry, dealing with large numbers of the public and selling the story of such a historical place.

In 2020, in the middle of a global pandemic, I decided it was time to go out alone doing the thing I am truly passionate about – helping people. Over the years I have been involved with launching several start up businesses, and I realised that this is what I love, being part of a team, supporting enthusiastic business owners and watching them thrive.

I set up my business for the same reasons that you did, and if not at my desk I can be found exploring with my cocker spaniel Kiwi or riding a horse. Don’t get me wrong, I love a trip to the city for a culture fix in the art galleries and museums, but my heart truly lies in the countryside, it’s where I am at my happiest.

All in the Country has gone from strength to strength over the past year, and myself and my growing team of experts cannot wait to support more entrepreneurs and help them build the business of their dreams.
